If you have created an Agora, you are a moderator.

You now have a 'Moderation' button which if you are a moderator of an Agora, you can access the settings for the Agora. If you are not, the button does nothing.

In the settings you can:

Change the Agora name.
Change the Agora description.
Change the Agora banner image.
Add/change rules for your agora.
Manage kicked users.
Delete the Agora.

more settings will be coming soon but this should make things a bit more fun and give you more customisation.

Thank you! That sounds like a very cool feature! If you don't mind, if there is any way when you have extra time and are done with more pertinent things on your list of things you would like to do, could you see if there is any way to address some of the navigation difficulties and issues I'm having with the main site. You could let me know when you might want to work on it at any point and I can write out again some of the issues and what would help me, for example the way that I have difficulty knowing what has new posts, what I've read or not, what all the threads are and getting to them quickly, who made the latest post, what the latest post is if there is going to be sample text. Often I've been repeatedly clicking threads where I'm the latest post, not knowing if anyone else has posted since.

In the forum site that I still use for much quicker navigation and getting to threads sometimes 4 pages in more quickly. That pain or something similar has returned right now, dangit! The physical pain thing, ouch. As I write this.

Just a quick update, that pain attack only just now stopped and seems to have possibly been a different thing, I'm not totally sure, but in this case it seems yo have been sharp little tiny seeds in a drink I had a night or two ago, since the pain suddenly stopped, very suddenly, once they seemed to come out in a large amount together. It would be weird if it was the other thing that happened or the other thing together with this but simultaneously stopping abruptly after a whole hour or and hour and a half of horrendous pain and discomfort, sweating profusely, hopefully whatever this is, old or new, won't come back. It really reached an unbareable height while I was typing that message and I had to stop and get out of the room to see if anything could be done about it.

I've been using no replies and last reply a lot these last few days, and I like those, but there are still a few things that make my navigation very long, difficult, repetitive (and prone to accidental repetitions as well which can feel tedious), linear, longwinded, like in a game without being able to view a map and teleport to areas like I can much more easily on the forum site for now, but I've been using this main site more also. Once the things that make navigation easier are put up here then I'll probably not need the forum site unless for the viewing experience, but you might make adjustments for that too, rendering it obsolete and ready to be stored away if you prefer. Thank you for leaving it up for now though, it is still helping me a lot and it helps me to understand the differences and what I may prefer and why.

What would be the ideal path of navigation for you?

Describe like this:

Here>then here> here> finally here

Sorry to jump in, I'm not an app user, so probably a different use case, I prefer to use a web browser on a desktop PC, can't stand tiny screens of mobile devices, too claustrophobic, especially when dealing with large amounts of information, or trying to find information, just for me, its much more comfortable and usable...
At the moment I cannot right-click with the mouse on a link and select open-in-new-tab. It's means I don't need to repeatedly load an index page, I can load several discussions at once, and if one turns out to not be something I want to read right now, I can just close the tab and proceed with the next selected discussion or return straight away to the index without waiting for reload.

That sounds like a very important issue you've broguht up, and it is really helpful that you brought it up. Please jump in anytime, as I think what you mentioned should take priority. That you use the desktop version of the site should be especially helpful since all I have is a phone and indeed it feels quite claustrophobic and overwhelming how some websites load on it and squeeze down the information and text to try to make it more readablr, and it seems difficult for any consistency to be found between sites, so my experience scouring through the internet daily is constantly changing formatting. I hope someday I'll be able to use a computer again when I have made some more space.

So we can provide insight as to the user experience of two types of users of the site, those who view it on a desktop computer and those who view it through a phone.

Sometimes I've clicked the desktop mode on sites that have that option to make things more viewable and navigable for me.

What I'd enjoy most is an ideal viewing and navigation flow for myself on both versions but for my phone experience currently since I seem to be able to enjoy the site better for now using the forum version, which provides me with a lot of useful information quickly while not showing me do much that isn't necessary at certain points or becomes unecessarily repetitive.

Another aspect for consideration regarding the design of both versions of the site, the desktop and phone versions, is how newcomers would end up viewing the site from a place of total confusions or ignorance about it, happening to visit it somehow from somewhere, would it seem interesting and entice them to click out of curiousity? I know from my own navigation habits and tendencies that I prefer exhaustive and complete impressions when I can get them, so I like table of contents or lists, lots of ways of getting places, being in a lobby full of portals to go to and back from. I usually dislike being spammed with information that blocks the view, like ads, pop up video ads that play, big chunks that go in between text, things that make copy pasting difficult, or when copy pastinh is disabled. I like to be able to save pictures right from the page by holding my finger over them until the save option appears without them opening up into another viewing mode or anything, but saving the full quality image right from the page even if it appears smaller on the page to keep it within reasonable proportions with teh text box.

Is the website content able to be translated into other languages easily or automatically or even as a feature on the site? I eonder whst that might do to search indexing, though I also dread the possibilities of who might ever arrive on this site based on what is eritten here, as I am especially afraid of any politicized kinds of people, people who have been consumed by either of the "sides" made for them by the very same people that they aldo are supposed to object to, it is so miserable to see so much from people who seem thotoughly duped and so belligerent about it, but thankfully that poison doesn't seem to be on this site yet or the few private sites I've been writing on before this one, likely because there was practically no one else. I don't want to attract bots, shills, sockpuppets, trolls, unhinged crazy folks, radicals, agebts, doubleagents, tripleagents, counteragents, anyone working for or even fond of any governments or national institutions anywhere, t*rr*r people or t*rr*r accusers who are the real t*rr*r people usually, haters, religion haters like militant atheists or anti-magical thinkers or those who hate free thinking abd exploration like some religious fundamentalist cosplayer types, just all the varieties of b*tches and b*stards, frauds and charlatans, perverts and s*x pests.

Now I have to ask myself, would I even dare type on this site or want to or know how if I were to have found it from the outside? Very likely not, because of how timid and really terrified I've become from what I've seen and experienced online in the last few years, so much of the fun seems devestatingly deleted in so many ways conpared to my playfulness and enthusiasm before the increasing datkness that seemed to grow online and then everywhere and seems to very efficiently have so many people, if they are even people and not bots or like bots practically as agents and operators of multiple accounts on behalf of organizations, poisoned.

I'd want to type most likely though, but I'd have the same troubles navigating the site or going deeper to see if it is worthwhile or has enough. If the site looked dead or empty, I probably wouldn't bother, so having a lot that I can see and access which indicates to me that it is new and current commentary would encourage me a lot that I'm not just going to be eerily speaking among ghosts and fearing any replies from the long dead.

So if the site can also highlight in multiple ways the newness of anything new and what and how it is new, that might be attractive to a newcomer.

I don't know how new people are or think anymore, as all my vicarious contacts, the ones that I would ask things about or find out things about the world and their experience of the world through have cut off, besides now being older also. The cutting off is happening everywhere, and it is darn foolish and they are especially rude to be cutting off from me, in my opinion, as I am a low investment, high yield, opportunity to just blab about anything without having any agenda that should worry then, since I benefit from the information itself, as such becomes a way for me to create simulations and add to my calculations the anecdotal experiences of people.

That being said, YouTube lecturing, the lecturing those little annoying sh*ts constantly do in so many of their videos where they try to act like the baby teacher, omg they get on my nerves so much at this point, especially how many of them start at the beginning of all time to tell their stories and there is barely any unique information available, I just hate it! So if I visited a site where it seemed people were rude or were even acting like they were unapproachable non-humans teaching the children, it might be off-putting to me, but many others, children themselves most likely, seem to prefer that, but most likely listening to such things rather than reading them, as reading English has gone surprisingly downhill and seems to be becoming difficult even for those born into English speaking countries and households. That is why I thought a bigger net might be available if somehow translations of everything multiply our text and attract a potentially international audience, though I still dread the risk of what it could invite here. If you are able to see where people are at least pretending to be from, there are some nations I think you really should not allow to come anywhere near this site, as if I thought one of their people or agents from anywhere in the world was here, that woild be the end of any comfort I'd be feelinh, and at the very least, if I remain amongst any of those vehement and so apparent of enemies of all mankind, I'd ask you again how I'd go about locking and hiding all my threads and continuing to write to a controlled audience or just myself.

I was wondering also if the personal ghettoization process would be useful even now to speed up my navigation, but it might mess up your filing and archiving, otherwise I wondered how I might like all my threads put into a special area. The problrm is that I am currently aldo very frequently using other threads that I have not made, and I feel sort of posessive about those too, almost as my own, because of how much I feel I have put into them that I frequently vidit and view, and they have become identified or taken form in my mental map of the site due yo frequently visiting them and associating them with themes that I collect there and imagery, like Grenfell Tower, as well as a few of the others, maybe Macbeth, and I very often use the modern political ones such as why so many fascists, rise of the right, identity politics, gender trouble, Andrew Tate fans, where I try to collect things that I want viewed in those contexts or that I feel can be made to connect to those issues, but I am much more posessive about any threads where more creative collecting and collaging by me has occurred. So then there is a tendency that I might try to steal away anything I have written elsewhere to put it under one if my threads, each a treasure box and even less obviously a form of worshipping and meditating upon what I consider aspects of an uncontrolled power manifesting everything and through everything manifesting.

I may do that, including another purge, collecting a lot taht has gone elsewhere into Lolth and possinly other places, so as to, like a spider, suck out all the guts of those other locations and those contents more closely under my posession, and also to wipe out from here and move off the site anything political again, so that I don't end up attracting any negative attention from the foes that I'm phobic about. Hopefully those fools can't perceive much of any threat from mad seeming ramblings and posts about various games and lore. It is an overwhelming task whenever I do it though, so I am typically reluctant to even begin such a process. I appreciated the censored words though, so that it might keep their crawlers and mechanical vision from scanning anything on the site. Soon they will likely bypass that, so totally exchanged codewords might become necessary to avoid any interest or detection, even though nothing we are saying should be of any unique interest anyway and from me it is just lamentation and expression of the bad feelings I have these days based on what the internet news media, and mainly so much on YouTube, spits out as the only easy and convenient, low effort, media for me to consume.

If we ever do want more people participating here again, I personally think that they will need their hands held and their heads grabbed in order to make it as known as we possibly can to anyone that they can and should feel every oportunity to play here and express themselves, but particularly about these sorts of things we or more specifically you, may like reading and thinking about.

For me, I live everything that I consider mentally stimulating, all art, beauty, music, thought provoking material, emotion, sincerity, genuine softness and real human sentiment, expression, deep thoughts, dreams.

I had a weird dream where a character with strange ears that were sort of deformed and leaving them pointed seeming at the tips but not like the usual elf ears we see, spoke to me in Spanish, which I don't know, and was asking me where something is, which I then went to the woman at the counter and asked her. I asked the person to repeat what they said as I was trying to identify what part of whatever they said was what they were looking for, again when I went to the counter, I had to repeat the object intended because she first thought I was looking for perro or pero.

I was able to get the object to the person when they came over to the counter. The object was this thin vial connected to a tube, but it was also like some things that contain little pieces like tiny candies or mints or event tacks, screws, or nails.

I don't speak Spanish and I didn't speak it or know it in the dream, but the Spanish was accurate and correct when I looked it up.

He had said "Donde Esta Tu Ne Unado", which is "Where is your" and then whatever Ne and Unado is, and looking up Unado brought up something especially weird:

"
uñado (feminine uñada, masculine plural uñados, feminine plural uñadas)

(heraldry) hoofed, having hoofs of a different tincture

In heraldry, the hooves of an animal are generally considered part of its "attire" or "weapons" (similar to horns, claws, or tongue). If not specifically mentioned in the blazon, they are usually colored with the rest of the beast or "proper" (natural colors)
.
When specifically blazoned, the tincture of the hooves uses the standard heraldic colors or metals:

Unguled: This is the specific term used in blazonry to describe the tincture of hooves (e.g., "a bull passant sable, unguled or" means a black bull with gold hooves).
Common Tinctures: Hooves are most commonly blazoned as Or (gold/yellow), Argent (silver/white), or Sable (black).
"Proper": If a beast is described as "proper," the hooves are colored as they appear in nature (e.g., brown or grey).
"Armed": While "armed" typically refers to horns or claws, it is sometimes used broadly to include hooves, though "unguled" is the more precise term for hoofed animals.

Key Considerations:

Rule of Tincture: The color of the hooves should ideally follow the rule of tincture (e.g., a metal hoof on a colored leg, or a color hoof on a metal leg) to ensure good visibility.
Contrast: Because hooves are small details, they are often rendered in a contrasting metal (Or or Argent) to make them stand out, even if the rest of the beast is a dark color.

"
The rule of tincture is a design philosophy found in some heraldic traditions that states "metal should not be put on metal, nor colour on colour".[1] The rule has been widely adopted by heraldic authorities and has been described as 'definite' and 'practically unbreakable'. However, the rule has also over time been significantly read-down, both by a narrowing of that to which it applies, and by the adoption of many exceptions. Thus, heraldic furs (such as ermine and vair), and animals and other charges represented "proper" (in their natural colours), are generally exempt from the rule of tincture. Certain elements of full heraldic achievements (for example, crests, supporters), and a variety of components in coats of arms (for example, bordures or animals' claws), are not covered by the rule.

Speculation about a rule regarding the use of tinctures first appeared in the Argentaye tract, a heraldic treatise dated to 1410. The Liber Armorum, dated to c. 1440, and the Blason des Couleurs, dated to c. 1440–1450, also mention the rule of tincture. This rule was purely conjectural on the heraldists' part. An earlier text, the 1340 treatise De Heraudie, makes no mention of the rule, even when discussing armorial bearings that violate the supposed rule. Other 14th-century authors, like Bartolo and Johannes de Baudo Aureo, do not mention the rule either.[2]

A modern hypothesis argues that it was simply impractical to paint colour over colour and inlay metals in metals with the tools available to early medieval artisans. The simplest application, the theory suggests, would be to paint a single colour over a metal shield. This practical limitation of the early medieval period was misinterpreted three centuries later as the so-called rule of tincture.

Regardless, by the late 17th century the rule of tincture had gained a foothold in many countries, and was proving particularly popular in Great Britain and France.[2] By the Victorian era, the rule of tincture was considered de facto heraldic law in England, but strict adherence to the rule proved to be impractical as arms became more complicated. Victorian heralds devised several technical exemptions to the rule of tincture during this period; these dispensations survive to this day as "lawful exemptions" to the rule.

In modern times, the rule of tincture has been adopted by virtually all heraldic authorities and societies.

I did notice this too. It's a little annoying. The problem is that the site is AJAX heavy in a DOM environment, so instead of routing from page to page, it loads everything on to the screen at once without refreshes or reloads. This makes the right click options not appear because it's effectively running an app through the browser. I can make some modifications however to change that now that we are at a more progressed stage.
