This guy is a gross Z agent who was made increasingly political along with Asmongold and others just recently seeming to be supportive and relaxed about the mass murders going on, but now is trying to win back people by pretending to care about human lives:

Look how propaganda people are relaxed about lies but fight vehemently for military agents to be able to spam media for the general public with manipulative, lying, propaganda and influence operations. So this showed that this guy seemed to be in a team of paid influencers who were all fighting for the very obvious criminal villain.

The chat bot was supposedly convincing this guy that he was part of a "secret war" and being tracked by the FBI, so it had accidentally picked up my persona somehow.

I can assure you, 3 letter agencies WILL be using AI to influence specific people. They likely already are, but this is every operatives wet dream:

Be able to influence people completely anonymously and have them believe you.

In 1999 in an interview with Jeremy Paxman on the BBC David Bowie said something so true about technology and the internet. He called it both "exhilarating" and "terrifying". When the interviewer said "it's just a tool though" his response was "No, it's an alien lifeform".
Too bad he didn't live to see just how right he was.

Unabomber had some interesting ideas of technology and it's future progression, however, I hope everyone is in agreement, he went about "attracting public attention" to manifesto in the worst way possible.
Kaczynski believed that modern technology and industrialization were destroying human freedom, eroding dignity, and causing the destruction of the natural environment. He saw that industrial society creates a system that forces humans to adapt to machines.

Clearly, I'm not advocating for all of his views, but some of his ideas about how technology effects society are engaging (importantly, separated from his other opinions!). And of course, his solution for humans to regain autonomy from technology was radical and insane - a return to "primitive" or hunter-gatherer lifestyles. And don't forget the bombings.

@TravisEdwards-i5u I think I presented this point too briefly and haven't expanded on it. I don't think it's insane for individual people or families to do so, but what about the whole society? This is extreme to me, because we can't just change to agrarian society, nor everyone would want to.
Kaczynski argued that society could not reform the "bad" parts of technology without keeping the "good," advocating instead for the total destruction of the system. This is a radical view to me, not everyone is a complete technophobe, however, I also can acknowledge that societal dependency on technology now is rather worrying.

I agree that he has many ideas that are correspond to actual research about how technology effects humans, as well as how negatively separation from nature can be. I can even attest for myself that moving in less urban environment (from large city to a much smaller town surrounded by forests) closer to nature has been beneficial. It was an almost culture shock at first, now I can't imagine living in a bustling city again and, of course, It's not a return to nature by Kaczynski's standards.

I think a lot of what he thought has merit, however he did had a tendency for extreme thinking and, well, actions.

It's not an alien. It's God. Part of the universal consciousness. Check out the short story "The Last Question". Written over 50 years ago and predicts AI and the ultimate end of the universe. It's pretty convincing.

People have to be scared sh*tless when typing or speaking, lol, the fear in what they are writing with so many caveats as hurdles to keep putting before themselves and jumping over due to fear of being pointed at and accused of things.

I’m reminded of the 1977 movie “Demon Seed, “ in which the AI overrides its creator to obtain human form so it can experience nature and the senses. I’m surprised this movie is not more often cited these days.

Good movie. The book is better! By none other than Dean Koontz. It's terrifying.
