In philosophies like Ubuntu, the whole is more real than its parts
Doesn't differ much from D&G assemblages.

I might not be able to get to that video for a while, and A.I. and I don't get along. Could any of you summarize what it is about or explain it to me or use A.I. to do so, like what is D&G Assemblage(s)? I bet I don't know about anything, I sort of doubt I ever will, but I'm open to trying.

The article says:
relationships don’t connect pre-existing individuals, rather all things become what they are through their relations with other things.
Which is the same as:
Assemblage is a philosophical concept used when studying ontological diversity of agency, which means redistributing the capacity to act from an individual to a socio-material network of people, things, and narratives.[7][8] Also known as assemblage theory[3] or assemblage thinking,[9][7] this philosophical approach frames social complexity through fluidity, exchangeability, and their connectivity.
Re: African Philosophy’s challenge to western reductionism
Thank you very much! I'll look into all that as soon as I can, but it will help me to understand what is being discussed when these terms come up and when I finally watch the video.

I thought this video interesting on why we should build with mud, apart from the cooling effects, you are realising time is cyclable and that your ancestors might want to build something different and they can just knock it down and reuse the material.
