Ultimately, Toner says OpenAI’s board members told no one except its legal team they would try to fire Altman because they knew the CEO would try to undermine them if he caught wind of it. But even after all this, Altman came back as CEO just a few days later, with 95% of the company signing an open letter to reinstate him.



Toner says this was presented as a black-and-white decision to employees within the company: either bring Altman back or OpenAI is destroyed. The security and valuation of the company were especially important, according to Toner, because OpenAI employees would make a lot of money from their equity in the $86 billion company via a tender offer a few months later.



“The second thing that is really important to know, that has really gone underreported, is how scared people are to go against Sam,” Toner said. “They experienced him retaliating against people, retaliating against them, for past instances of being critical. They were really afraid of what might happen to them.”

Any ideas on how society can be turned back to sanity abd decency? It seems like there is no turning back, that it is just more and more of this, getting worse, and can only be obliterated or something.

Murdoch's Fox News said to lethally inject homeless and mentally ill people, then just now said to lethally gas the U.N. and k*ll everyone inside. These are nationally broadcasted stations, totally mainstream media in the U.S.A., saying the most insane t*rr*ristic N*z* sh*t against people on U.S. soil and who are U.S. citizens. It is practically unheard of for things like this to be said so openly. A hostile, truly enemy group has infiltrated everywhere on all levels and is pushing the chaos to the max, the flagrant injustice, the normalizing of totally crazy things being said and vicious language of brutality and callousness against the people and innocents.

How could it be turned back while such a rotten bunch are all in power eith their money keeping their people at the top, even though the general public despises all this.

They brought to the forefront every single vile thing plaguing society, they just go ahead and push things that no one wants and practically no one asked for, just to bully and agitate the general populace, this is destabilization and acceleration at work.
