Most other members are currently busy with other things currently anyway, so until they return, we can carry on posting what we do as we do it.

Have they said what they are busy with? I have numerous things to do as well but since I type pretty fast with my thumb I seem to manage to write here a bit too, read lots, watch a number of things on my TV such as on Youtube and Netflix, cook, clean, shower, have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as well as dessert for example today I made this big mexican spiced beef and cheese pie thing as well as lots of popcorn, read some of those things I mentioned such as the Augustine book and the Dictionary of Philosophy plus writing all those things I did while still having numerous other things to do such as recovering from an injury by purchasing a new bed, scheduling a trip for some family to come here and have some important government paperwork to file.

I think if I had to say where I am philosophy wise in  the most general conceptual sense, I would say reality is one and the many, something akin to Spinoza. This is sometimes referred to as panentheism, but if you want to call it something without a God, it would probably be best to say dualist monism.

Yeah, I am in the same boat generally except do not believe in neutrality or that the power is deceived or out of control of itself and operating unwittingly. The particulars do not hold any influence over their cause or themselves and are also not objects that we can verify, all we know is our experience. You can check out some comments made in the Sorting Islam thread.

I listed all those sentences in this thread to see if they remind anyone familiar with schools of philosophy or philosophical terms of particular or multiple schools which may seem to encompass or say similar things.

I don't think I can outlay my entire philosophy in one thread, a thesis that covers a significant micro-macro metaphysical philosophy with accompanying epistemology, ethical and aesthetic components (which I consider to be the minimum, along with a sceptical approach to other positions that are contra to my position) can take up to 200 pages to cover in the least nuanced way (400 for something very comprehensive). This is why I try to open several threads on various aspects of 'my' philosophy. In all honesty, I haven't got a fully thought out system as of yet, sometimes I can fall into the territory of Idealism still, so that's something I find challenging.

I expect it will take me another 5 years to mature my position into a fully coherent system.

As to my Philosophy, I would say there is more to this world then science describes. There are such things as ghost or spirits, as I have co witnessed them, so I know I was not hulicinating. However there are many ways to deceived and misinformed. Also these events are infrequent and not the bulk of life as I know it. Life is mysterious as it is, unpicking the wealth of knowledge that we have accumulated is over whelming, so for me I think I have to start with the basics, like the mind informs the body and the body informs the mind. We should take care of these things and respect them in others. We don't need as much stuff as we have and we can learn things in many different ways, music, art. I know how the herd works to keep people in their place. I know that humans thirst for stability and try to avoid suffering. For me life is a balancing act between all these things and is sometimes overwhelming. As to Philosophy,  I think it often leads nowhere but is interesting in the way it shows up certain habitual ways of thinking. For example Nietzsche showed me how Christian my behavior was, in some regards like ought and owe morality where we keep a list of deeds as if it's a bank account. I suppose that leads me to the Philosophy of the absurd, Camus, why not suicide, because we find the absurd itself a reason to go on, the fact we go on is absurd.I find people are toughest on their own kind, policing and judging their friends more than their enemies. As to all in one, what difference does it make ?

Yeah! That is cool that you two have such wonderful thoughts and ideas.

I think I could some up my philosophy into a single word, practically any word at all, for example Allah.

I can choose other words too like Fanatacism or Presence or Worship or Hate.

How it is contained in a word like Allah is as a response that is singular but also in the etymologies of these words.

I wouldn't need 200 or even 400 words, really even one. Since my philosophy is Is or presence as well and what stems from it and it being indusputible and indistinguishable.

Learning that things can not be communicated with certainty leaves one solipsistic and alone.

I don't like my philosophy and I am not smug about it. I don't want these things but want something I don't believe is possible ever, safety.

Every system fails like a table with one leg. Unless that leg is very broad, one big fat stump of a leg which encompasses more or is the table.

People seemto miss things the more they squint.

People who eat everything without thinking might harm themselves.

A picky eater and dieter but not too picky and not too open to eating anything at all may live a healthy and prosperous and happier life. They are ok with fusion restaurants and a wide menu of all the same thing, food, but are wary of the Bullsh*t du jour special, since not everyone can stomach sh*t and not feel sick about it. Those who can are not necessarily admirable either or brave, and their breath stinks afterall and what is in their gut is the same that comes out.
