From now on, if a user makes two posts in a row, they will automatically merge into one. Here on IndieAgora, I think it’s best to keep things consolidated. It’s easier to follow a back-and-forth discussion than to wade through very long posts that might discourage interaction. If you do want to write a long post, consider whether it might be better to start a new topic.
Edit: The plugin isn’t working, so I’ll need to install something else to handle it. For now, please try to only post once before someone else responds.

Re: Double post merging
I'll do so. I hope that the things I've written and collected are not lost though, since repeated posting may have occurred in some cases due to limits in length so then I'd cut what was going over the text limit and paste it in the next post to be complete.
If it works that I still am able to post like that but it merges into one, and especially if I can still edit that one even if it has gone over the post length limit that would have been the reason to separate them out, then I can fix any typos or links, that would be ideal for me probably.
I will see about the length, since that can be intimidating and reduce engagement once there might be people using this site more, but I also like being thorough and exhaustive, so for example I spent a very long time reading and writing all day that I was awake on Sunday to go through so much Derrida stuff, since whatever I copy paste I read first to see that it brings up things that I want to include, and I use it also so that references for further comments are easily accessible or visible, but sometimes that can really make posts that would've been long already even longer by including other people's writing.
This site may already have this function, but if there is a code like "hide" which I could use to keep the long sections of other writing hidden and which then can be expanded, sometimes sites also have a spoilers thing that functions similarly as a hide option, but it can keep things neater, and would only perhaps be a slight hassle if at a later point I would have to expand them all before copying a page to save the writing.
So my only concern would be that I lose writing, that I don't produce as much, that I lose references by not including the text and then the text can't be found again or the links go dead or the text is removed from the internet from those sites which is why I try to preserve so much of the text in the post itself since over the years so many links have gone dead or comments get anonymized or scrambled or deleted and I also may not be able to know or explain what might have been there, especially years later.
Also, since YouTube links were showing up and slowing down other sites I've used by loading the viewable window for each, though it seems to run very smoothly on this site as compared to others which seemed to have less capacity, I adopted a habit whereby I would add ?feature=shared to the end of the links which would make them not appear in viewable windows on the sites but would still remain as working links, though a person would have to take a leap of faith in clicking the links. I like that they are viewable, even though it does mess with my copying writing since the links don't show up if I copy over the viewing windows. I've still been adding ?feature=shared to the ends of all links in case that would then work to turn my links back into links if that ending is made a code that doesn't automatically become viewable, though I do also like seeing what I've posted too and being able to click it right away to listen to or watch but it can also bulk up posts by making one line into however many lines a full viewing window takes up.
For other things, since I'm writing all this here, hopefully you don't mind too much, if the threads could also have an indicator of who the original poster of the thread is, that may speed up my effort to try to take control of, re-purpose, and get back into circulation any threads that I can control as the original poster. I don't like deleting or losing anything, so whatever I have written in the past or even recently would always be around in a thread, unless I or you move it elsewhere, so re-purposing or newly added themes and directions would occur in recent or later posts, though I have in other places edited in something to the beginning of the thread that also reminds any new visitor to it what it is supposed to be about, which may only otherwise be indicated in a much later post if there had been lots of older posts.
I am a little concerned about my writing being lost or cut due to the merging efforts, so if there is a major risk of that, I can just try to manually fix everything or move things around, but if there is no risk and all my writing is safely preserved and merged into very long posts that I can still edit without it telling me I can't due to the overall length because it was separated out in the first place due to that restriction, that might be a little issue, but even if I can't edit those really long ones and it just means I post afterwards like I have been and it merges it, that is fine too, the worst of all for me would be the loss of my writing and what I've spent hours upon hours reading and collecting being lost and no longer viewable since a merging effort wiped out the writing in a way you can't retrieve either, that would be horrible for me and would make me feel confused about what I am writing abd collecting while I'm doing it.
