I am implementing new sections to Connect profiles.
You will see all of your activity from Discuss and Stream but it will be read-only and link either to the Discuss topic/reply/agora or to content on the Stream Peertube instance.
You will also have enhanced privacy options that allow you to hide this content from other users, prevent other users from visiting your profile and prevent other users searching for you and messaging you.
There will also be an option that allows you to prevent/discourage search engines from looking at your profile.
I will soon be adding in an API turnstile fee which will allow us to monetise bot access to our content on Atrium. Basically it will stop spam bots and LLMs in their tracks and they will have to pay a fee to view content on the site and that fee will then be distributed to users and a small amount will be retained for administrator to contribute to running costs.
So basically after today we will be able to have more control over our data and if you are ok with sharing all of your content with other users, they can find that content and interact with it.

Re: Connect tab upgrade
Things that would protect me from any groups or bots looking for key words, basically hiding me and anything I quote, paste, or write from just about anyone online, would be preferable, as I'm pretty paranoid these days and there seem to be too many political creeps wandering around. Everyone here generally knows me and gets the drift and understands what I'm about, but the freaky groups are only interested in promoting agendas and getting people in trouble or using them as examples, so I want to be as invisible as possible, while still saying nothing controversisl or worth anything to them or even anyone, but with the way things are shifting daily and one group of nasties or another trying to ruin people now or even at skme point jn the future or connecting things written to a future profile or status. Actually, unless you think it would be bad for the site, you could auto turn on in the background everything to hide me as much as possible, so that I can post as I have been without worrying that some son or nephew of a gun is going to track me or that I draw in people looking for certain statements. I'm alright with an audience of just you, me, and sometimes maybe whisper, and possibly anyone I show any writing to, but I think as few as any of those people as I ever might even show it to, never really read or look at anything I write, so that is fine too, plus they probably already know ehat I'd say or think about anything abd the rest are references for ideas related to creative projects I might never get to.

Re: Connect tab upgrade
Also, if you could create something maybe where a user can choose to alter or censor their own words, in which case I'd like most swear words to at least have a * in them, and any words that have to do with people or places I think are bad or dangerous being turned one or two letters or pretty fully censored, like Is, H, S, J, all those closely related things which like the name of Voldemort I consider dangerous to even utter anywhere now, but also because I don't like seeing those words these days, maybe ever again.
It could be a thing that filters and changes the words to whatever one prefers, one word input at a time, so the f eord can be out in and thrn the word thst one would like it to always be changed to. One issue is with links that have the word, so that it should only catch isolated words with dpaces around them rather than just the letters anywhere or anything part of links, but I don't mind it eradicating it from quotes since I'd be manually doing that every time using find word in the browser, but it can be an annoying process.

Connect tab upgrade
I have started to impliment the Connect changes - you can now Export all of your data from the site in your profile in connect by visiting the settings tab or by clicking the profile in the bottom nav bar and selecting 'Export'. You will get a compressed zip file with all of your posts and attachments.
DO NOT USE THE USERNAME/EMAIL/PASSWOIRD change functions yet! They are not properly configured and may lock you out!
Also, the deactivate and delete account functions are not wired yet.
I have removed the change username field and will soon replace it with a Display Name field. Once again Peertube integration got in the way.
The password reset function works.
The deactivate and delete account functuons do not work yet. I need to think about how to get them to work.
Everything in the profile is safe.
The export feature works pretty well.
