Information about YouTube Playlist URLS.

After spending a day fighting with YouTube Playlists I have figured out what the problem is.

When you open a playlist on YouTube you see the video that is currently being played with the list next to it. There is a share button below the video that in the past, used to share the playlist. It no longer does this. You have to go to the playlist page BEFORE the video plays (pictured in screenshot below).

The url should look like:

[code]https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoDMbgzdx28jLzOQ1Lx2jIkJcdJaG9RBV&si=PgXCPIheIzTIQ9b_[/code]

not:

[code]https://youtu.be/9J65FS0YrBo?si=R93i797kdaqZt5dr[/code]

The latter is the one that is given to you when you share from where the video PLAYS not where you can preview the playlist. You want the link from the playlist preview page BEFORE you play the video.

Why YouTube does this? I have no idea, but it's annoying as hell and it drove me crazy for weeks but then it became clear.

Hope that helps. I am unable to make any changes to my end of this, this is a hurdle on YouTube, not IndieAgora.

That is great that you found the solution, I will test it out here momentarily, after seeing what the different links are above.

Could you repost the urls without the first h of https: or whatever?

Both link me to the same video and for some reason just one video when I click "watch on YouTube", and with the same link.

My solution so far for the playlist issue has been to just post the playlist link without the h, so people or I can copy paste it later into the address bar with an h added for it to go to the correct link.

I'm fixing something so that the urls show as plain text inside code blocks bbcode but running into issues.

I see playlists yes. We can also see plain text urls inside [code] bbcode now.
