The news cycle gives the impression of accelleration and escalation at such an insane level now in so many areas all at once, and it further condenses it by not reporting news constantly but having it compressed due to missing days and hours, meanwhile the advances and disturbing information discrediting institutions, leaders, even older scientific consensus is all reaching people faster than they know what to do with it.
