I have seen a fireball floating at the end of my bed, about the size of a football maybe a little smaller, in Fromme Somerset, in the downstairs room of a stables in a manor house that use to be let by the National trust.

Yeah, that is what they look like when they ignite or become luminous through speeding up their vibrations or releasing some chemical and they seem to be able to move rather fluidly or more quickly while in the ball of light form than in the mist form which seems more relaxed and expanded though I've seen them move relatively fast in that form as well. I once looked up at the sky and there were all these stars and then one of the stationary seeming stars started to move and do wild loopdy loops and then zoom in a blue streak meaning it was descending back to Earth rather than going far away which would've caused a red streak known as red shift. The Qur'an mentions the Jinn from the perspective of the Jinn in the chapter entitled The Jinn and talks about their sitting up high in the atmosphere to try to pick up signals and transmissions which might tell them about incoming things on the Earth and atmospheric influences which are of interest to them and their communities. The behavior looked drastic and sudden though like it was making evasive maneuvers or had to rapidly get back down for refueling or air or something the way we might needto when we dive in water. It was literally there floating in the air, not fast, also it look more like fire than plasma, but it was not hot. We my boyfriend and I were v.drunk and had a good time at a local pub called the Castle. You know the type of pub you walk in and it's like you just walked into someones living room. I had to impress them by ordering the strongest cider, Cheddar, 15 percent. By the end of the night the landlord was swapping jackets with one of our friends, turning it inside out and pretending to be a jockey.
When we went to turn in my boyfriend had returned to look at his new blackberry phone, and we were sitting in bed when the Jinn appeared. We just hid under the covers. I think the house was called the manor in Frome, Somerset. [hr] http://www.thebigdomain.com/large-houses/stonnwall-manor-estate

Well it probably came because of the extremely strong alcohol vapors coming off of you and your partner. They suck on stuff like that and are attuned to detect it since it is their food source. Fire as well as Lightning is Plasma and Plasma is called ionized gas.
http://www.askamathematician.com/2013/05/q-is-fire-a-plasma-what-is-plasma/
They also very often move in the fashion of a flame or the aurora borealis, like snakes and standing snakes at times or snakelike so have sometimes been associated with snakes or having the lower bodies of snakes which can be somewhat seen in the form in the Japan video, but the ball of flame form just totally stopped which can move slowly or quickly is very common as well. They use certain elements of acceleration and electromagnetic force to move things and can generate enough pressure and force even to move extremely heavy objects with incredible speed due to the natures of their bodies.
They often attach to people who drink vaporous alchohol or may be smelling badly in order to suck off of them what they can.
Three common things said of them are: they are not of this world but from another dimension, they feed off of "energies" and "negativity", they are evil or super powerful or supernatural or ghosts of humans.
They are not from another world nor another dimension which is just silliness, they live in this world and are natural physical beings like any other creatures in this world and have been mentioned since ancient times and may even appear in cave art.
They are physical and are born, procreate, eat, defecate, live, and die.
They can not and do not feed off "energies" or "negativity", which again are just strange made up concepts. There is nothing ingestible about "negativity". They ingest real substances which are processed through their bodies just as we eat food which is broken down and put to use.
They have long attacked cows and farms, attracted to the methane release. They also sometimes seem to like that blood should be spilled possibly for some aspect of it which they can ingest.
For the most part they are not evil, just like humans are for the most part not hell bent on destruction, but like humans are mainly interested in food and basic living and survival issues. They are not human though, or supernatural, neither having access to magical knowledge or powers or anything else.
Their colors are also said to mean things which is also false, their colors have to do largely with what chemicals they have ingested and how they are reacting, the majority are nearly transparent or appearing white or grey, when illuminated also generally white sometimes with tints again based on various factors.
They can appear black, pink, blue, and a variety of colors. Due to many being in the forests they were said to have great knowledge of chemical properties and uses of plants but mainly for themselves and possibly some vetrinary science which could be applied to humans as well which was not of particular interest to them.
The Qur'an credits a jinn with the invention of alcohol for various uses.
They seem to like Wormwood or Absinthe due to its high alcohol content.
Another irony is that being made of plasma which is fire, they are vulnerable to and afraid of fire because they are highly flammable due to ingestion of flammable gasses as their main fuel or food source.
Stories of noxious dragons or feathered flying serpents in caves breathing toxic fumes which turn into flames may be related if ever literal with the nature of these real dragons, some of which can seem to grow very large over time, especially those stationed in cellars and caves.
They can seep through extremely tight spaces as well, staying by a crack until they sift through.
I've seen these activities first hand and dealt with these personally, likely meaning they are quite frequent and numerous and around people often enough for these encounters even though the vast majority stays out of contact.
They also seem to speak the same local languages and have their own cellular technologies and talk via their own phones and things which has a funny cute quality to it since people tend to overly mystify these local Earthlings that have only recently been entirely forgotten or covered with misinformation they are likely perfectly pleased with since it protects them from some wannabe ghostbusters taking vacuum cleaners and sucking them up or setting them on fire.

I noticed something weird, again really. I was misled by reviews by people online that had suggested several things were bad which weren't bad at all in my opinion when I saw them. The things they seemed to target have major similarities though, as if these particular things tend to irritate and offend certain types of people if they are genuine, but even if they aren't, they seemed to particularly target these things with similar themes. Besides seemingly hating anything that mentions or depicts anything even slightly "ethnic" or especially "Islamic" and Middle Eastern, even if it is about Ancient things, they seem to hate anything that has humor along with spiritual entities, particularly deities or deity like beings and interactions in it, also when things like voices in the mind are involved.
So they disliked Venom, Thor: Love And Thunder, and Moon Knight, and I had seen Venom so was puzzled by their disliking it, and then saw Thor: Love And Thunder and liked it a lot, and now saw Moon Knight's first episode and thought it was fun too, so what the heck? Well they attack everything these days, but these three had similar ideas and themes and received particularly unwarranted seeming ire.
For a funny paranoid theory, I think they are maybe threatened by the content somehow, like afraid of being crazy or going crazy. They may also hate religious material and any mention of deities being taken seriously, worshipped, or rejected. The Thor film and the other feature names that refer to figures that were in religious texts and were taken seriously, and are treated with a mixture of humor and seriousness in these productions.
I felt like there was an anti-spiritual defense mechanism activated by these things, like these people are particularly averse to spiritual things and are especially repulsed by certain spiritual symbols used spiritually, like thunder and lightning or the moon. Numerous things which seem to bring up elements or symbols like that have failed despite not being all that bad, it isn't just these few relatively recent examples, but looking back I can notice it a lot, and the component that seems to be in common with the versions that fail is an association or hint of anything divine or supernatural in a divine way. These are good symbols with good meanings to me, associated with thoughts and feelings I consider good, but a whole portion of the modern population seems to react by becoming angry, even aggressive or violent in relation to those symbols or against them.
I was looking at the somewhat sidetracked or "failed" career of Chi Coltrane, who sang semi-spirituallu about very similar themes as these, in a very vague way, with their song "Thunder and Lightning", which ultimately, despite a lot of support and backing and coverage, amounted to next to nothing in approval from people, except a few only around these years, which is 50 years later or whatever.
Even though there are lots of more plain and obvious reasons that can be given, I sense that there are large swathes of the population who, for whatever reason, are in certain categories where different things, like different symbols may tend to appeal to them, also approached in a different fashion. The things they like, I tend to absolutely hate, and they have influential opinions that attack things that I think are not bad, or are even good. These same sorts of people seem to approach everything completely differently than I might, even how they speak about things seems like they are from another world and also don't seem to know about much or have any kind of broad curiousity. If they have any personal symbols at all, they seem very difficult to find or see them acknowledging or mentioning, they mainly seem dry and bereft of much, and mainly just targeting anything with even a drop of "magic" to it, while in some cases they even dare to pretend to be religious or into magical things themselves, yet lash out at everything like that and prefer ideas I think are totally baseless and stupid.

Dark-haired RAVEN loves WARDUKE Evil Fighter, and although she knows that he is power-hungry and selfish, she will do whatever she can to help him. She was not exposed to the Heartstone, and she may not be totally evil, but her real personality is hidden behind her love for WARDUKE. She is angry with MERCION, because they were once friends, and MERCION now condemns WARDUKE, the man she loves. RAVEN is attractive, wearing a winged headdress and dark cloak.

MERCION, RAVEN Cleric, and ZARGASH Cleric were members of a party who found the Heartstone, a magical gem that brings out hidden things about a person. The Heartstone brought out even more of MERCION's good, but uncovered the evil in the others. Since then, both ZARGASH and RAVEN have been MERCION's enemies, seeking every chance to destroy their former friend.

It is worth noting, however, that a (unnamed) figure with warduke's distinctive headgear appears on the cover of Dragon Magazine #17, published by TSR, Inc. in 1978.

They are on a campaign right now to take down everything. They just a few days ago still had all the copies of Dragon Magazine available for downloading and now they are all taken down. That is so miserable as I only just recently got enough space to download them all.

In 1870, there were several thousand Freemasons in Manhattan, many of whom lunched at the Knickerbocker Cottage at a special table on the second floor. There, the idea of a new fraternity for Masons, stressing fun and fellowship, was discussed. Together, Walter M. Fleming and William J. Florence established a separate fellowship to fulfill those ideals.
While on tour in Marseille, Florence, an actor, was invited to a party given by an Arab diplomat. The entertainment was a musical comedy. At its conclusion, the guests became members of a secret society. Florence took notes and drawings at his initial viewing and on two other occasions, once in Algiers and once in Cairo. When he returned to New York in 1870, he showed his material to Fleming.[8]
Fleming created the ritual, emblem and costumes. Florence and Fleming were initiated August 13, 1870, and they initiated 11 men on June 16, 1871.[9]
The group adopted a Middle Eastern theme and soon established Temple, although the term Temple has now been replaced by Shrine Auditorium or Shrine Center. The first Temple established was Mecca Temple, established at the New York City Masonic Hall on September 26, 1872. Fleming was the first potentate.[10]
In 1875, there were 43 Shriners in the organization. To encourage membership, the Imperial Grand Council of the Ancient Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine for North America was created at the June 6, 1876 meeting of Mecca Temple. Fleming was elected the first imperial potentate. By 1878, there were 425 members in 13 temples in eight states, and by 1888, there were 7,210 members in 48 temples in the United States and Canada. By the Imperial Session held in Washington, D.C., in 1900, there were 55,000 members and 82 Temples.[11]
Black Shrine
edit
Historically, the Shrine was open to only white men. In 1893, a black counterpart to the Shriners movement was initiated by John G. Jones and other Prince Hall masons, initially called The Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine of North and South America and Its Jurisdictions.[12] Early in the group's history, there was legal conflict between the white and black orders, with a white order from Texas filing suit against a local black order for infringement of white Shriners regalia and traditions. The white order was initially successful in quashing the black temple until the ruling was overturned in appeals in 1929, protecting the right of black Shriners to continue practicing and fundraising nationwide.[13] The Worldwide Fraternal Shrine Family counts 35,000 members in 227 shrines, with its own women's auxiliary organizations. Their primary recipients of charitable donations are the NAACP, the National Urban League, the UNCF, and various hospitals and universities.[12]
Syria mosque
edit
In 1911, the Syria Mosque was completed in Pittsburgh and inaugurated in 1916. This 3,700-seat performance venue, originally for Shriners, later became significant as the "birthplace of network television".[14] An example of Exotic Revival architecture, it was never used as a mosque but featured religious Arabic iconography and inscriptions,[15] partly based on the Alhambra.[16] Architect Gulzar Haider was "fascinated" by its design, but criticized the "insensitive and callous misuse of another religion’s artistic vocabulary and symbolic grammar," claiming it was part of the "'oriental obsession' of the otherwise 'puritanical' Europeans and Americans".[16]
Musicians who have performed at the Syria Mosque include Bruce Springsteen, Louis Armstrong, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Jimmy Buffett, and The Beach Boys. Political event hosts included Reagan, Nixon, Truman, and Kennedy. Despite efforts to conserve the building as a historic landmark, the Syria Mosque was torn down in 1991.[17]
Women's auxiliaries
edit
The Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America was founded in 1903 in Wheeling, West Virginia,[18] and the Daughters of the Nile was founded in 1913 in Seattle, Washington.[19] Both are for women only and they support the Shriners Hospitals and promote sociability. Membership in either organization is open to any woman 18 years of age and older who is related to a Shriner or Master Mason by birth or marriage. The latter organization has local branches called "Temples," and there were ten of these in 1922. Among the famous members of the Daughters of the Nile was First Lady Florence Harding, wife of Warren G. Harding.[20]
Growth
edit
By 1938 there were about 340,000 members in the United States. That year, Life published photographs of the Shriners' rites. It described the Shriners as being the first in prestige, wealth and show among secret societies, and that Shriners organizations typically include a town's most prominent citizens.[21]
Organizational rebranding
edit
In 2002, following the September 11 attacks, the "faux-Middle Eastern practices and trappings" led Shriners to be "mistaken for a Muslim organization, leading to harassment and vandalism".[22] This included threatening phone calls and harassment of Rhode Island Shriners (formerly known as Palestine Temple Shriners) driving a Shriners van to transport sick children to Shriner hospitals.[22]
Daughters of the Nile at Shriners Hospital for Children – Canada in Montreal in 1948.
By 2011, Shriners removed much of the Middle Eastern theming, both locally[22] and within the broader organization.[23] This was in continued response to "the events of Sept. 11, 2001 and subsequent military conflicts".[23] Changes included renaming the organization from "Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine" to "Shriners International;" renaming the "Arabic Patrol" to "The Patrol" and removing the word Syria from Syria Shriners vanity plates. Despite these changes, the Illustrious Potentate of Pittsburgh's Syria Shrine chapter stated that "pretty much all non-atheists are welcome, including Muslims".[23]
