Stream - Peertube will not be Integrated into Atrium

Stream has been an absolute pain to configure so I have had to rethink how Atrium will work. The problem is that Stream is allowing us to view and use peertube remotely and in order to do that each user has to be given a token. Without this token, users can\'t rate, comment, subscribe, reply or upload. I managed to get tokens issued but they only last for 24 hours. I thought I had the refresh system sorted out but itseems to be too incredibly stubborn. This is what is known as an API (Application Programming Interface) which allows different types of software to communicate with each other. It was how I envisioned Atrium to work as a Sovereign System Coordinator. However in practice, it\'s better if I create my own systems. I was thinking that I can keep the current system which allows us to register here on Atrium or Peertube and then users can use this site and the site at stream.indieagora.com - the fact that Peertube lacks any internal system for users to communicate with each other via private messages means that Atrium is an upgrade for Peertube in a way. The only change is that Peertube will take a back seat in Atrium. I was thinking of upgrading Connect so that we can see all of the activity on Peertube and the forums are visible in the user\'s profile in Connect but are read only and will link to Discuss or Peertube in order for a user to interact but commenting on videos, rating, subscribing and uploading will have to be done on the stream.indieagora.com site (where it most stable anyway). What will be happening is the Stream tab in Atrium will have its own custom built video service. Everything seems easier to modify and upgrade when i do it myself. [b]The Stream tab will be a mini platform for video sharing, commenting, rating, subscribing, uploading and eventually when I can configure it - video live streaming - a feature that is very hard to configure in Peertube itself never mind through the API.[/b] It will take a while to get this up and running but I have concluded that it is the only way that Atrium will function - if I build every piece. As long as you want to do this and will be pleased by doing this and hopefully it won,'t take too much time, an alternative yo YouTube, which I have almost never used for uploading anything, would be a very impressive accomplishment and likely something that could stay under the radar for a long time, if not for the entire term for which it may last under your control. That would make it seemingly a much safer seeming place to upload certain things that one might not want to attract the corporate attention that could be attracted by something put up on YouTube. I plan on trying to get an income stream going from YouTube since I can't think of an easier way to be able to try to get extra funds in, but would have to be cautious in several ways in order to avoid negative attention, which seems like a constant possibility and threat on there.

I would like that you find the time to play on the site more by typing things you are thinking about and may still be interested in or researching, as well as possibly interacting with posts more, though it isn't necessary or important that you do so at this time, it just might make me look less crazy, but I don't mind the way I'm using the site so far even with minimal interaction and it just mainly seeming like me and my musings and collecting notes to refer back to and illustrate ideas to myself. I have wanted to change the ratio of my posts to more of my own writing and less references through lengthy quoting and videos that I think might being up something for me, except that such a method may have increased to its recent height when my phone got messed up and made typing far more difficult and the other things easier even though still more difficult than they would be possibly under different conditions. If I hadn't collected what I dod though, I'd really be missing a lot of notes and easy references to keep my mind working on certain ideas, since using my phone's notepad is much less convenient and difficult to view, so that any notes are practically lost of they end up there, plus aldo if something more happens to my phone.

Eventually, all that I've written here may be archived like the 2017 writing or back into the past if many more people start writing and using this site, but there is also the possibility that it might just be us for as long as you are able to keep these sites going.

I like the idea of your very own YouTube, and I would even like the option to use such, but right now I also don't know how likely that is, considering that I have not started practicing making videos as I'd like to, but it is also nice that if I ever am able to do so, which would be very soon hopefully, that I can aldo use this place to upload videos that I don't want to on YouTube or which I may want to back up here or which may for whatever reason get taken down, though I don't plan on ever trying to get into any trouble, all I really want in that case would be to as effortlessly as possible sonehow get enough extra income comnng in that I could potentially escape the hellish prospects of the current projection for my future, which is dire seeming and very dangerous. I have very little energy, though I still process tremendous amounts of information, and my other concern is that I may not really be using the streaming or video options even if they do exist, and I'm not even sure how often I'll navigate to see them, which might make it less useful for me overall, as I'd most likely just be doing something like I have been doing on this forum site, which is either collecting notes as I have been or changing the ratio to writing more, the third option being neither and just laying here staring at the ceiling or reading my books or trying to get things more in order for my attempt at the extra income stream, which would be necessary seeming and urgent except for all the obstacles making it seem so far away and difficult, like my sleep schedule being a mess, no space to re-organize things easily to clean up the areas to make making anything even possible and do much more which seems to block me and waste another day, while collecting notes here is one of the easier leisure activities I can still do while laying on my bed, which is the only space where I can do anything as there are no seats or desks or tables available to do anything really yet.

So, if it isn't too much of a pain and it makes you feel good and happy, you should probably do it for your pleasure, even if I won't be able to use it or even view it frequently. It gives me a boost that you are able to do it though, it is an awesome project and idea that I think you will be able to make very quickly and nicely, as you have all these things. I'm a late-adopter type, so don't let my dour attitude turn you away from building and achieving things.

Oh, now something I could use would be a program that would help me make videos easily and anonymoudly, that may even resemble what I try to achieve with my posting style, which is that I would choose to be entirely masked, possibly with a useless little avatar puppet for the audience that pretends to be speakkng the A.I. voices for my typed words, then I put quotes and images, and I'd want to do as little editing as possible, but it says what I want and shows quoted portions easily and parts of videos easily, ideally without my having to manually save the video then put it jnto another editkng program or file to clip the portion and then to move it to the project to insert it at a certain time, I'd like slmething that just streamlines everything so that I can breeze through making videos anonymously in a way which seems like a person with a real voice at least is behind the video and I can pump out vidros long or short with almost everything automated or with very reduced effort or involvement overall, that is able yo compete with the other stuff on YouTube that I view condescendingly as total crap, and direct people to Patreon to get funds so I can get a house and avoid doing much ever, maybe continuing to dream of filmmaking but I'd need similar shortcuts most likely as lifting a finger is too much, let alone any other appendage.

Is there a way to somehow integrate onto the main site something where people can make an online "zine" styled thing, so images behind text and sometimes image pages that can be scrolled through snd maybe also saved as a pdf?

It is a newish trend these days, a lot of it looks like rock show posters, sometimes the text has weird fonts and directions making it more artistic seeming:

So how I imagine it might work, if there was ever to be some function like this, is it would work pretty much like a thread, the thread is either a Digital Zine or an issue of a Zine, if there is a bigger directory, people can add issues to the Zine, and each issue has multiple pages, each page can have images added, clipped images, formatting options like rotating and positioning uploaded images or parts of images that are cropped after uploading them on a page, and some writing, it can allow for functional links and YouTube videos just like threads, but should also just have the link listed above the video if a video is used, and it can at least have the image of the page with that video and link on the pdf version. The user can set the amount of pages or just keep making new pages until thry are done with all the pages of the issue.

It should provide all the tools to put together a scrapbook style zine page, including weird fonts easily available and switchable, being able to layer images and have transparent sections of the images so they arent a block, basically taking some basic graphic tools to allow gor laying things out and slightly layering them as people tend to like making these "Zine" things look a pretty specific way these days.

So you could make an advanced philosophy one or something on topics that you are interested in, like a new and attractive version of the "Cybernetics" and "Haunting" type things that had some of that style sometimes.

So a simple scribble function might help, so that handmade drawings and writing can be placed on a page. That is for the fantasy I'm talking about, you of course don't have to make any of this if you don't want to or it is too difficult, but I thought it might be something unique and attractive for the site which I haven't seen elsewhere, plus you seem very well equipped and capable of putting together something like that.
